Students from kindergarten to CM2 will participate in the competition for young designers. Their creations are exhibited at the library and wait for the public vote.
The association of parents Peep (Parents of pupils in public) Saulieu, chaired by Rémi Poillot, hosted the tenth edition Contest of the young designer. It is for children of nursery and primary schools and aims to promote arts education in schools. For
Saulieu, students from kindergarten to participate for the first time. In small and medium sections, they realized a collective drawing, while all other students of primary classes, but also the only class of the school Villargoix performed some individual work. 125 sketches have been made on the theme of "Water for Life".
The Public Voting
As always, the drawings are exposed to the municipal library Saulieu. This exhibition is to be discovered until Saturday and, on this occasion, the public is invited to vote for the best design in each category there are four: small and medium sections, large section and CP, CE1 and CE2, CM1 and CM2.
The first three designs in each category will then be sent to the registered office of the Peep Dijon conduct a recount. The
or selected designs will then be selected at county level or regional and national levels. In all cases, the end of the school year, all participants will be rewarded a book and those who are selected will receive art materials.
In parallel to this contest, the Peep organizes the contest of the young reader who is open to students of CM1, CM2 and sixth. This year, more than 90 students participated and the results will be announced at the same time as drawing contest.
